Daily Dilemma ("we", "the app") is committed to protecting your
privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it
is used.
1. Data We Collect
When you use Daily Dilemma, we collect the following data:

Username — chosen by you during onboarding,
visible to other users.

Votes — your daily choice (option A or B) for
each dilemma.

Comments — text you submit in the comments
section.

Country — inferred from your IP address at the
time of voting, used for regional statistics only.

Push notification token — used to send you
daily dilemma reminders and reply notifications, if you grant
permission.

Device identifier — a randomly generated ID
stored on your device, used to identify you across sessions
without requiring an account.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To display global and regional voting statistics.
- To show your vote history and comment activity.
- To send push notifications you have opted into.

To identify your device across app sessions (no account
required).
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to
any third party.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on
Supabase servers located in the
European Union. Push notifications are delivered via
Expo's notification infrastructure.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete
your account at any time from the app's settings screen, which will
permanently erase all your data.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.

Request deletion of your data (available directly in the app via
"Delete my account").
- Object to the processing of your data.

6. Children
Daily Dilemma is not directed at children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect data from children under 13.

this page reflects the latest revision.
